That looks almost like they were supposed to be there! Glad that worked out!

I really like those Enkei's.

The caps will get crusty from salt and water over time, maybe hit em with a clear laquer or some rustoleum silver. I used a black rustoleum and they blend in with my slips.

But as you noticed they are pretty cheap so whatever. They shouldn't pop out, I have had mine on for a while now. ~1.5k miles no issues.

Alright guys, here's the sub that went in today.

Rockford's latest p3 in their ported box. Under powering it at the moment with that pioneer amp by 200 watts and it's hitting HARD when you let it get up. Already beat out two guys. Was thinking I needed a capacitor, but now I don't think I do. It was fine rolling around after work. Going to put the amp in the spare tire so it's hidden and have the wiring for the sub coming through a hole in the cover so it's hidden too.

Goobers. That looks great and so does the car.... I haven't heard whether you like the way your car feels an drives since the changes.. I hope it has worked out as well for you as I feel it has for me on my car... Now you need to get BOOST and what all it takes to keep the car from developing a mind of it's own and get you into trouble with the law... Set up right you should be able to escape and evade them if you are on roads you know.

Thanks.

Maybe it's a placebo, the steering feels.. "heavier." I know that its lighter than the stock wheels, so I think it's because of the overall size and the shift in the offset making turns feel heavier. It's not bad though, since I question myself whether or not its really happening, so its pretty minor.

Maybe its the weather, the MPG is a little higher so far.

But, I'm loving the car. Able to push a little bit harder than before. WEEEEEE.

As for "evading"... HAH, I doubt it. If I were ever in a chase (being)... it would probably be the shortest chase ever! I wouldn't want to scratch up my car.

Yeah, Those are great tires but they are brand new on wider than stock rims and are 1.27" wider than the stock tires.. Bump the air pressure up a smidgen in the front tires and it will steer more easily.

Yesterday morning installed the Top Fuel intake, replaced the PRM. Can't really give any review as I'm trying to do my part and not use too much fuel until Japan is fully back on its feet. I actually painted mine with a high heat black paint and then wrapped it with gold reflective tape. Figure try and help a little bit to keep the intake charge a fraction cooler.

Sweet! would love to hear your take. I was also thinking about wraps but in keeping monitor of the intake bends (pop hood and touch the intake between patient visitations) they don't seem to get hot as I expect them to be... a tad warm but definitely not hot. I can firmly say that the JDP Tracy based hood really work to vent out heat and keep the engine bay cooler. Also, not sure if it helped to make the air colder in the intake, but the placement of the catch can is like a mini-refrigerator. I kid you not, the catch can feels like it just came out the chiller... cold I know it's still late part of winter but good to know where to scoop some colder air. And anyone doing the $50 Lyon DIY intake... maybe you can route your filter in front of the battery

I'm planning to run a duct from that area going to the intake filter (maybe just a smaller dia duct to squeeze in on the inner filter inlet).

Finally got a chance to install the Progress rear sway bar I had sitting in my garage all winter. Install was pretty straight forward, took about an hour, definitely feel a difference.

I love everything about the lights, specially when lit. If 51 LED per side seem overkill and light output becomes blindingly bright... they're not. LED used are smaller than the norm, bright but not ubber bright. It's a well made, well thought out design and the wire harness are long enough that installation was twice as fast and easy. May or may not justify the price but the reasons are there for you to see why these are priced premium and of course it also depends on who's looking or how you look at it.
