JDP rear spoiler install:

first let me say that I did not follow the instructions from JDP. So if you are planning on swapping out your spoiler do so at your own risk!

1. Get all the tools needed. There are not many I just used a panel removal tool and a 10mm socket. The panel removal tool will prevent you from scratching anything while you're working.

2. There are 2 of these on each side of the rear spoiler. Use your panel removal tool to pry them out carefully a lot of force is not needed.

3. Once the spoiler bolt cover pieces are removed you should see this. Now take your 10mm socket and remove the two bolts. You don't really have to worry about the spoiler falling it's on there pretty good.

4. After you get the bolts removed then you can remove the little aluminum brackets that the bolt covers snap into.

5. Now you can evenly apply pulling force to the entire rear spoiler. the spoiler has a few clips so you will feel some resistance but just keep pulling evenly and relatively straight back and the spoiler should come off.
Once you have it off it should look like this.

6. After you get the spoiler off I removed all the little white plastic clips from the hatch. Then I swapped the bolt cover brackets over to the JDP rear spoiler. The brackets have a bit of tape on them so they should adhere to the JDP spoiler. Sorry but one of the pics didn't come out well.

7. Mount your new JDP rear spoiler and secure the bolts. There is no need to go all Incredible Hulk on the bolts just enough torque so the spoiler doesn't wiggle. pop the bolt covers back on and you're done
