Disc Brake Pads

Following up on this thread over in the 3rd Gen Forum.

Most of you know me as the arrogant jerk who is always telling people to spend lots of money and buy OEM parts. This time, I tried to follow my own advice and wound up wasting six weeks getting jerked around by three online parts sellers. Since my local dealer prices were outrageous to the point of felonious, I broke down and opted for the best aftermarket parts I could get. At least I think that's what Akebono are.

These are the most beautiful brake pads I have ever seen. The set is complete with shims, backing plates and springs. If they fit the way I expect they will, I'll be very happy.

$79.00 at NAPA.

The last set of NAPA pads I bought were awesome. I'll try Akebonos next time. Thanks for the tip .
