oil filters

Fram makes the Honda Filters PH7317. Mobil's filters, STP and AC Delco are all made by Champion Labs. The one for most new Hondas is AC Delco PF2057, while STP doesn't have a direct equivalent. STP's 6607 is a slightly undersized oil filter, which will fit, but won't contain as much oil. WIX also makes a good filter, and NAPA markets WIX filters under their store brand name.

Used the AC Delco PF1233 for a '08 Yaris . Worked fine for many oil intervals . Could get it for under $5 . The HONDA Genuine A02 is is $7+ . Was thinking of getting an AC Delco for the '11 FIT . Like the thick rubber seal ( ring ) for a snug fit to the block . Had a few U.O.A.s from BLACKSTONE using the PF1233 and came back with good filtration . I posted a few at BobIsTheOilGuy . Thanks for the info .
