Installing FIAMM 74100 EL GRANDE horns

Hello,

I just received the horns today from the UPS guy. I want to do the install tomorrow but I am a bit confused on what to do. I'm only changing one horn behind the grille but the El Grande comes with 2. Do I have to change both of the FIT's horns or I put both horns in the stock ones place? Can someone post a brief DIY with some good description? (steps, materials, wiring). Pictures would help but won't be necessary. Thanks!

You're probably going to want to mount them both in the stock horns place behind the grille. Hang on for pics.

Here ya are:

Relay info for wiring:

These are Java^Fit's pictures and diagram. I do not claim these as my own.

This should have everything you need assuming the two horns are run the same way. Which I can't see why they would be much different.

Once again. This is Java^fit's work. We were going to do a write up but just never got around to it and neither of us wanted to go back to take pictures of the install.

I don't even remember where we mounted ours. I'll have to go look when I get off.

another question, where does the harness that was connected to the old stock horn go? i don't want to cut it apart to wire it. Is there a wire I am able to purchase that has the same plug?

Sorry for the long time to respond.

Alright, the relay I drilled I mounted with 3M double stick on the under side of the beam behind the horns.

As for the Harness, I cut mine but if you don't want to do this. I suggest a T-Tap wire connector (if they make them that small) and then tape that thing up with electrical tape to keep it insulated. Or as a last resort, you could strip a portion and solder a connection on and tape it up. It all depends on what you're comfortable doing.

How much louder than stock are these?

The stock horn is pathetic.
