Overfilled manual trans

Decided to change my fluid today and 2+ quatrs came out after I opened the fill bolt, my pan was 4 quarts and was almost full after I drained the trans. Has anyone else has grossly overfilled gearbox from the factory?

I did not do my trans fluid because I was overdue and needed a full flush.... my only experience is with other cars and this has been my personal experience... The fill holes are oriented that you can't overfill them (they pour out at the proper fill level)

You drained the engine oil by mistake?

Definitely not the engine oil, this all came out of the 17mm fill plug on the side of the trans and the drain bolt. This car has a lot of build quality issues, it must have been built on a Friday.

Same thing for me. Went to check at 30k and it spilt out. Changing now at 47 at a good quart came out ABOVE the fill line. And no it wasn't blinker fluid!!!!
