Exclamation Recommendation on lowering spring

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a new Orange Metallic 2011fit sport and am looking to upgrade my suspension. I'm not looking to go full coilovers at this time. Based on researching and looking at all the pics on the forum, I've narrowed my choices down to tein s tech or eibach sportline.

Any have experience using both springs and can give some input on which might be better?

Am also running on 16x8.25 + 15 offset wheels W/ 205/40/16 Tires
Thanks in advance!

I have S-Techs and i'd be scared running them with such aggressive wheels simply because the S-Techs are not stiff springs, and the body leans some in turns (rub rub rub). The fact that there are no aftermarket stiffer dampers available compounds the problem. You will have some fender gap with 16s and 40 series tires + S-Techs, if you're going for the "flush look", they will not accomplish that very well.

I'd probably save up for coilovers if I were you, or run a less aggressive wheel setup.

Don't get me wrong, they're fairly comfortable springs for the drop they give you, but they're not sporty at all.

+15 is too much. +25 is much better in a 8.25. That's what mine are. 17x8.25 +25

Congrats on your new Fit.

I would recommend Swift springs above all others but it looks like you are going for a certain look/stance

I think you may rub with that wheel/tire combo with either of those springs.
Did you consider any of the Tanabe springs like the DF210?

I know I hate to spend more money changing things but you really like to get it right the first time.

If you plan on keeping your current set up I would save up for coils.

fender roll + fender pull + camber bolts up front will be your option to fit those wheels.
