Has anyone replaced the rear torsion beam bushings in their GE8? I saw the replacement info in idrivemyself's thread over in the GD section, but haven't seen anything written up for GE models. The bushings did change from GD to GE, at least as it looks in the drawings for other parts, but of course Honda doesn't have the part available, they suggest changing the entire beam....

After a lot of digging, it appears that the bushing is the same size/spec as the UK Civic gen 8 Hatchback, the replacement part number for both cars is the same there, which might be good news. The only question is whether the mounting bolt is the same as US-spec cars (my guess is no, that would be too simple, but maybe it is). Here are two options:

I might give the Febest a whirl, and see if it works or needs to be drilled out, unless anyone has other options they've found?
