Rubbing question
Rubbing question
I am looking at some wheels that are 18x8 +35 offset with 215/35 tires (same outside diameter as stock).
My question is: How bad would these rub (I know they will, but want to know if anyone else is running something similar)? I am running Tein springs (roughly 2" drop). I don't have a problem rolling the fenders a touch to get the lip smooth, but would rather not push them out.

If you are looking for good fitment with a drop like that I would roll my fenders regardless. I would get a camber kit as well so you can manipulate it to where you won't rub going straight or turning. Also if you plan on going lower... like for example, you get an adjustable coilover suspension dampener setup, your fenders will be rolled already so you wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. It's really to each it's own. A lot of people want to have a good fitment these days and just get wheel specs everybody else is using. If you want to do it the right way, take actual measurements on how much wheel well space you have and utilize to your choosing. Hope this reply helps.
I had 18x8 et45 (with 8mm spacers in rear) with 225/35-18's and it rubbed on dips and bumps like crazy crazy. Your setup will be 10mm further pushed out and only 5mm less width on either side of centerline of the tire. Effectively you will have 5mm less clearance than I did and line rubbed a good but just in lowering springs. I did not roll the fenders or pull them.
I figured as much. I tried them on (without driving it), and you could see that it was basically going to rub all the time. I would've had to pull the fenders about an inch just to clear. Way too big for the Fit
This is why i said what i said on my previous post bro. Sorry they didn't fit.
