Even though my Nissan Frontier is not a GDI engine, I know many people add a catch can on the VQ series engines. After purchasing or new Fit last weekend with a real GDI engine, the debate started for me. Do I install a catch can, or do I perform regular cleanings, say every oil change with the CRC cleaner? The big thing that holds me back with a catch can is living in the frozen tundra and having the can freeze up and making things worse. Just getting as much opinion and learning as much as possible.
