2015 Fit Gk5 with 10th gen Civic L15b7 swap
This swap is the only reason I haven't done many mods yet (I've been veeeeery tempted by that RV6 catless downpipe for sale in the classifieds); I am waiting to see if this would be a practical swap for me.
The 205 crank hp and good gas mileage of the L15b7 sounds like exactly what I want in a lightweight hatchback.
It also looks like some simple tuning really exposes that engine's potential.
Lol that was me that asked that question which axion answered. Cant wait!
after reading this thread I am leaning more toward this swap then my original kswap which I have already started sourcing parts for.. how soon will kits be avail and will you be offering kits with donor motors?
@axion_industries how did the final swap end up turning out?
- Were you able to use the full engine/transmission from the donor?
- What ECU are you using?
- Did Hasport end up providing the mounts?
We got a motor and trans from a wrecked 2017 Civic
Using stock ECU with Ktuner
Hasport are manufacturing mounts.... You will also need a downpipe and custom front pipe to connect to exhaust, intercooler, custom ic piping, custom intake, custom axles
Total swap would set most back $4000-6000 depending on the mods you do to it
