Hello! I just picked up my new car today - what a great car!!

I've been looking through the manual for an answer without any luck. I have an EX (Canada). Does anyone know if the side mirrors are foldable? Both driver and passenger sides? If yes, how would you do this?

that manually fold in, there is no auto fold function -- you would have to replace them with mirrors meant for Japanese Domestic Market (JDM)

 

Yep, you'd have to get JDM mirrors. Also another problem is the wiring and relays which aren't available on non Japanese models.

Someone did install heated mirrors on a non EX-L trim and it was alot of work. It was cool to have that feature but I wouldn't do it myself.

If you are willing to do that work post us pics!! We love to see mods!!

OP has a Canadian EX. He won't have to worry about getting heated side mirrors. They come standard for Canadian LX models and up.

 

Correction, heated mirror is STANDARD on ALL trims in Canada. From DX and up!

 

and you can peel them back to slide winker arrows underneath them. I am on second winter with both heating and winking still functioning.

 

Yessir def a lot of work. I would be that someone lol. I am a bit jealous of the Canadian FIT trim offerings. I would have done the EX-L in a heartbeat if it meant I could have a 6MT.
