Amsoil is good stuff!! It’s a base 5 synthetic.

Way overkill for a Fit IMO.

There are a half dozen or more top notch synthetic oils from major companies. Individually they have slightly different strengths and weaknesses with nothing to decisively distinguish one over another. Any of these top oils would be fully satisfactory in the Fit or any other modern car.

Why I don't get my oil analyzed. There is nothing I can or will do except sleepless nights if the results is not favorable.

If it was only two months ago, and the dealership used a synthetic oil, then I would just check the sub-codes to see if there is any other services it is recommending that you may actually need, and then just reset the maintenance minder.
As far as the Oil goes, the maintenance minder...reminds with some time to spare. I think it illuminates with 20-15% oil life left....so you're not at 0. Since you'd be 2 months behind, I'd just go, and then when it illuminates next...just get the oil changed-as close as possible to immediately when you see the light. Then the NEXT maintenance minder interval you should be synced, and can change right when you see the light, or let it get closer to 0. I don't panic when the light comes on, I just wait until a convenient weekend to have the work done. Always before I reach 0, but usually not immediately when it illuminates.

Oil change intervals are owners choice.
I personally go by the maintenance minder. And I check to make sure they have reset it after every service.

so, this UOA is my 3rd sample, and more than likely will be my last one. this one was taken at 60k and with 12500 miles at time of oil change. I originally stated, I would go for 15k on the next oci, but I'll go ahead and retract that statement, as hitting 12500 miles had an impact on mpg, and anything past 10k makes the car driving experience less than ideal (car starts to lose some of its pep)

it was a fun experiment, and it looks like I'll be sticking to 10k oci's from here on out, and no longer will be buying filters rated for 15k nor extended use oils rated for 15k neither. those of you that have followed my adventure.... I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did

I'm glad you posted those oil analyses. OCIs really should be dependent on the type of driving and the quality of the oil as referenced by the oil analysis. I've seen across my old Civic VX, my CR-V, a Mazda RX-7, and a BMW E90 that about 7000 mi OCI is warranted using Castrol and Valvoline oils that I purchase.

Has anyone tried Walmart SuperTech oil? I ran SuperTech Conventional 5W30 exclusively in my 1994 Civic VX (that has 207400 miles). No issues with buildup or engine-related issues. I bought branded oils for my other cars,

I have not tried it but I think it is from the same manufacturer of Amazon oil. Project Farm on YouTube did a test and it performed well (the Amazon oil).
