I have a 2018 Fit Sport. Key with attached fob. It flashes lights when I unlock, but does nothing when I lock it using the fob. I'd like to see lights flash or a short beep when I lock it in case I need to lock it from a distance or when it is too noisy to hear the subtle click. All my other cars have flashed a light upon lock.

I tried the method outlined in this thread, but to no avail. Can I get the system to flash lights (ideal) or beep (better than nothing), upon locking the car with the fob?

Does anyone else have a 3rd gen with a key/fob combo as pictured below and get a light flash or beep when the lock up using the fob?

The front and rear lamps flash when I click the lock button. If I click the lock button the 2nd time the lamps will blink and horn will beep. Lamps will blink when I press the unlock button, but never beeps. I have a 2017 LX
