Driving Without An Engine Splash Guard. The Good And Bad.
I live in a condo.
I have a space under a shared carport.
I have no ramps or means to elevate the car.
I am ham fisted. I am also 66.
I can afford it (because I drive a Fit and live in a condo).

You can get them really cheap on partsgeek.com
mine came off after hitting something during a flood. Without it my gas mileage wasn't as good on the highway but city driving had no effect. But you don't want to run some odd object over without one and risk damaging your engine componets. Better a $60 fix than say getting a hole in your oil pan or something else.
