Hey guys finally got my hands on the ktuner v1.2 and will be flashing the stock basemap on it for now until I get some bolt on parts like the rv6 hfpc downpipe and the takeda aFe 5r intake.

What I'm curious about is does anybody know of any e-tuner shops that have previous experience tuning the L15B1? I would assume tuning these GK5 engines has to be at least slightly different from tuning a k20/k24 engine and I would prefer mine to be tuned by somebody who's already done a couple of these.

Any of you guys who have installed the ktuner gotten a custom tune by a shop? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

 

Ktuner has an "authorized tuner" search feature on their website. You just put in your zip code

Hello, I have got a 2015 GK5 Rs with L15b1 engine on it.
I have checked Ktuner and found that my ECU is not compatible since it is not on the list. What is your ECU code? Is it same as mine; 37820-5R1-J09?

Honestly I don't know as I never even checked to see if the ecu code matched up lol. I just did it on a hope and a prayer

 

you can send them an email directly. I think sometimes the list is not fully up to date.

Is your L15b1 a 6 speed manual+reverse like mine?

 

I have sent them a mail and said that my ecu is not compatible, but am a bit confuse because they said otsnot compatible but saw a post someone used it on their fit with l15b1

 

Yeah mine is the l15b1 with the 6 speed. Weird that yours wouldn't be supported, where do you live? I'm usa

 

K-tuner doesn't work on most 2018-20 (auto & manual) models. Those ECU's can't be tuned. I have emailed them about my 2018 Fit also.
