Hello!
This is my first post and I'm not sure where to put this thread, but I have been noticing a ticking noise in my engine.
I think some of the noise is normal for 2016 fits, but some of it seems too loud to be normal. I notice the sound when idle, but when driving or accelerating it goes away. I get my oil changed when the car says it's at 5-10%, but haven't been adding additives. Just added an additive for the first time, but there is still noise. I have taken it to two places so far and been told it is the VTC actuator or lifter ticking. I don't think it is the VTC because it doesn't happen only on start up. I'm going to take it to a few other places and see what they say. Video one showcases the noise that I think isn't normal better which seems louder under the passenger side. What do ya'll think?
