2016 Fit, High-Pitched "Chirp" from Suspension
Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue. Brand new 2016 LX with about 300 miles on the clock.
I'm getting a brief, high-pitched chirp from (I think) the front suspension, seems to occurs very inconsistently on bumpy or irregular road surfaces. It almost sounds like a bird call! It's frustrating because it's difficult to replicate.
The dealer said he's never heard of the issue. They're going to look the car over on Thursday and see if they can find the cause.
Anyone else had any experience with this?

Chirp and Creaky Noise
I also have a chirp in my 2016 LX. I first noticed it around 1000 miles. It makes the noise under the exact same circumstances. I took it into Auburn Honda and could not repeat the noise for them, even though it made the noise on the way to the dealer. If I have a passenger it seems to not make the noise. I am at 4500 miles now and almost due for an oil change, so hopefully when I take it back in I can repeat the noise.

I'm getting the noise (chirp) with or without passengers and whether or not the car is loaded.
I'm getting to the point where I can replicate the noise, so hopefully I'll be able to demonstrate it to the dealer.

It turns out that my suspension "chirp" is coming from the driver's side front strut. The mechanic says that a spacer at the top of the strut should be stationary whereas mine is able to rotate, thus creating the noise. The part is back ordered but he told me the car is safe to operate as is. He also thinks the fact that the part is back ordered may indicate that a recall is pending. Since I'm going away on vacation, the resolution of the problem will have to wait until the week after next.
