I have a 2015 Honda Fit with ~136k miles. The VSA, TPMS, EPS, & Check Charge Lights all came on dashboard a few months ago. Read similar issues but mine did not have a check engine light code so I didn't suspec bad spark plugs, coils or injectors that some have reported having replaced to fix various lights.
I replaced the battery after testing that and the alternator. At the same time I inspected the serpentine belt and replaced it as well due to some cracks.
Issue went away for a few days but it came back.
Symptoms: Tire pressure were fine, power steering worked, and charging worked but the vehicle stability did seem like it wasn't activated.
Next I replaced the current sensor on the negative battery terminal. I didn't have confidence it would fix it as I measured resistance between the pins on the original and new current sensors and they were within in the same range. Lights were still on despite the car seemingly driving fine.
I cleaned all the ground in the engine bay and that didn't correct it either.
I suspected that the "check charge" lights were causing the VSA, EPS and TPMS. I've tested battery and charging system several times and it came back fine.
I ended up getting a fancier OBD2 scanner since I didn't get check engine light but I wanted to check the other systems.
Error code I got were:
P16E2
U0029-00
U0401-68
Finally, I removed all the electrical connections to the alternator and the PCM. I inspected them and they all look fine (no bent pins, no noticeable corrosion). I used electrical cleaner and cleaned every connector. Then I used compress air to blow out any loose material and dry the plugs. I buttoned everything back up.
So far, 30 miles and the issue has not came back. I suspect that if it does come back I likely I have wiring or less likely PCM issue.
I will follow up with an update if the issue returns.
Update:
The lights had came back. I ended up taking it in to get diagnose from a reputable Toyota/Honda garage. They told me most likely I needed the PCM needed to be reprogrammed.
Given that it wasn't causing any drive-ability issues I kept driving it with the associated lights for about 1.5 year.
Replaced my spark plugs (due to maintenance) and decided to zip tie the connector on the alternator.
Lights are completely gone. I believe the zip-tieing is what fixed it. Zip tied connector on alternator to alternator
