2020 Fit system crash?

Has anyone ever encountered this phenomenon?

On 3 previous occasions, my traction warning light has suddenly come on and is accompanied with Carplay rebooting. This has happened while stopping and starting at a stop sin on an incline. The manual states this could indicate a problem with the ‘hill start assist’ system.

This happened again tonight as I was pulling into the driveway. I waited for CarPlay to reboot, then turned off the car. I stepped out of the car to open the hatchback lid. It was locked and I tried to unlock using the key fob. Nothing happened. The car locks did not unlock. I sat back in to the car and tried to start the engine. Dead. No lights, Nothing. All dead.

I went into the house to get a voltmeter. I was away about 2 minutes. I went back to the car with the voltmeter but now the cabin lights went on with the car door opening. I attempted to start the car and the car started normally. The entertainment display flashed the Honda icon and then went to a screen saying the anti-theft system needed to be reset by holding the power button for 5 seconds and the gps needed about 10 minutes to get satellite data.

Thanks for responding!

In the daylight I had a chance to look around. ODBII reader did not yield any related info. The resistance between the -ve battery terminal and rest of car looked good. I did find that the battery ground terminal was hand moveable. I tightened it.

I will go hill climbing tonight to see if the traction/Hill assist warning indicator reappears.
