Just snagged a 2019 sport model.

Looking to ditch these fugly wheels and poop firestones ASAP.

Looking at 16x7 40 offset RPF1 with 205/50/16 tires and eibach lowering springs.

Anyone running similar? Wondering about rubbing.

Just installed the official GK5 Sport suspension tonight (08W60-T5A-100A) and it went pretty smoothly. The only hiccup was that I ended up uninstalling/reinstalling the front suspension again because the bolt for the shock top-mount is ~6mm shorter than the stock shocks. This means that the the OEM rubber caps for the shock's top-mount bolt no longer really fit, because there's barely any purchase on the bolt (maybe 2 threads). I double checked in the installation of the shocks and also confirmed that the pre-assembled units were tightened/assembled correctly. Just a minor waste of time because Honda didn't think to tell us those caps would become useless and I assumed user/manufacturer error.

Getting my alignment tomorrow, but did a quick drive around the block to confirm nothing was horribly wrong and already noticed the pitch/dive is greatly reduced. Very happy because my main goal in upgrading was to reduce that bad dive on braking that you get with the stock suspension.

Question

I plan to buy The Mugen Sports Rear Luggage Mat for Honda Fit GK (3rd generation),
but I am going to use it on my Honda Fit GE (2nd generation).

The main reason is the GK version now including the rear mat for behind the rear seat. The problem is I don't know whether it will fit the Honda Fit GE,
particulary because it is hang by using the metal bar that hold the rear head rest.

So I need owner of GK who is kind enough to help me get this following measurements:
a. The spacing between the holes for the metal bar to goes through on the LEFT rear seat head rest and RIGHT rear seat head rest.
b. The spacing between the holes for the metal bar to goes through on the CENTER rear seat heat rest
c. The DISTANCE between the right holes on the LEFT rear seat head rest and the left holes on the CENTER rear seat head rest.

If all the measurement above are similar or close to my GE head rest holes, then I will buy it.

Thank You in advance.

Here is another picture to more understand the situation:

Do the trim on these match the orange trim in the 2018-2019 Honda fit Sport? Their website describes them as black and red, but the pics look orange.

mugen-power.com Sports luggage mat

Thanks.

I am not impressed with the value of my new 2019 Fit LX (GK) WeatherTech FloorLiner floor mats and cargo liner. Comments on these Weather Tech mats are:
  1. cargo liner is shipped rolled and after 1 week the edges are still a bit warped
  2. cargo liner is very thin - I imagine that the liner will not last due to heavy cargo compressively wearing the ridges or wear from abrasion (my Honda 2002 OEM cargo liner was much sturdier)
  3. floor liners (floor mats) do not come up far enough on the front-side-back to keep snow/rain on boots and pants from getting in between the liner and the OEM floor carpeting
    1. especially the often-used driver side (gaps along the side)
    2. the front side doesn't come up over the L-foot rest

  4. back mat doesn't go far enough into the underside of the front seats nor up the back along the rear seat floor tub elevation to prevent snow/rain dripping from rear passengers

There are a few threads on mats for the Fit. I have the Husky, Maxpider and now Lloyd's. A little time spent researching would have saved you some disappointment.

This is the center console generally mounted on the GK FIT's...

¿Found out THIS is the center console apparently mounted ONLY on 2015's GK models...?

My question is.... as i believe the 2014 and 2015+ fits have the same chassis...is it possible to swap the top center console for the bottom one without problems? (other than swapping brackets and stuff like that)

I really like the bottom version... better than the other one...

Nice S2000! I have an 03' prepped for the track with some quality parts. I've been debating on lowering and buying a set of RpF1's for the Fit, but i wanna keep it practical (whole reason i bought it)

83401-T5R-A01ZA is the center console for GK5 Fit/Jazz (Canadian DX). It looks like the shape is same in those two, but the colour is different. Light Gray for the EV and black for the GK5.

For those out there looking to Supercharge/Turbo charge your cars, Torqueamp Electric turbo looks promising : https://torqamp.com/torqamp-kit/

There's a few youtube videos of these being installed and it works.... :

Since I haven't driven much because I've been working 100% remotely now, battery died on me. Even after trying to bring it back to life with a battery tender, it wasn't starting without a booster pack.

Has anyone on here swapped to a standalone ECU like a motec 142 or AEM Infinity?
mods so far on my 19 platinum pearl white sport cvt. (Casper)
HFP suspension kit
Konig Dial Ins with General Altimax RT43's
Custom tint
badges removed
Husky all weather mats
Back seats removed
RV6 catted downpipe to custom 2.25 exhaust with magnaflow muffler.
Maxbore 56mm throttle body with 56mm throttle body spacer.
AEM short ram intake.
Car is such a fun daily driver for such little horsepower and torque.
Now all I need is a tune and Casper is good to go.

I bought the ktuner. ECUs nowadays are so integrated to other functions. In retrospect I think tuners are more familiar with hondata. The stage 1 tune from ktuner is excellent. The thing is I wanted to do more things like cams etc, and I just couldn't figure out how to tune for those changes. At the time, ktuner was too busy to do a custom tune. Maybe things have changed. It seems like they are running axioms L15B turbo project...

I wish I could use the ktuner but he told me that it's only for the ecus from 2015-16.
I'm wondering if the stock ecu will just correct the increased airflow without being too rich or lean.
Or could I just take it to Honda and have them reflash the ecu and get everything running normal that way?
Are you the guy with glasses who sold the Fit on YouTube? If so I love the vids man!

Nope, I am the HDPE nerd on FitFreak. Check out my build thread. Or here I am chasing down my friend in his Cayman GTS
Mine is a 2017, built in 2016, I gave ktuner guy my ECU part number and he said my part number was "partially" supported, but it works fine... Dont' know about 2018s and 2019s...

It only lists 15-16 on the website but they haven’t updated. My ECU isn’t listed but it was added a few months ago. (2019 LX). Unless you’ve got a 2020 with new ECU model code you won’t have to wait. And if it’s a newer ECU you just need to do an upload and wait for Them to unlock it.
