Remote/Keyless Entry help for an idiot

You may be reading that too literally. I have bought many new cars, and you normally get 2 keys or key/fobs with the delivery. At most I have gotten 2 normal keys and one "valet" key back when cars had special limited access nonelectronic valet keys.

The norm is 2 keys (or fobs in the case of proximity lock and button start). These fobs are expensive and would need to be "paired" to a car, so a dealer wil not provide 4 of them unless you pay for the extra two.

Yep...verbal blunder 2 remotes. My bad.

We were only given one. It wasn't in the package with the owners manual. Left a message with the dealership.
