I feel like driving is fun. I don't like manuals! It is not fun to me.

Seriously. No need to be an ass about your opinion being different, people. I don't think it's as fun to drive as the previous generations. Why make that into such a big deal?

I test drove a red 2015 M/T Fit today. This is my comparison to the earlier FITS.

Suspension: The suspension setup for the new 2015 fits feels like my 2008 bmw 328i. It feels sporty, but at the same time you don't have much feedback from the road. There is significantly less rebound than with the GD FIT.

Transmission: Although I don't have anything bad to say about the M/T of the GD or GE, the new manual definitely feels a lot more redefined. There is a lot less noise and the clutch engages as quickly as the earlier models, but at the same time a LOT smoother. Also, the stock throw is shorter.

Noise: Cabin noise was significantly reduced.

Engine: The engine definitely revs a lot faster. There is also less noise from the drive belt, but I can feel a different noise (maybe from the injectors?)

The new fits are worth every penny. It may be less "fun to drive", but there are many mods that will be available soon that will make it more fun.

Not sure what you're talking about. I merely expressed my disagreement. Not my fault others can't handle that. The situation you've expressed is exactly what happened to me. If you're implying I'm the one doing so, then in this case it's not a matter of opinion. You simply are wrong.

Yeehaw! Can you name 2 or 3 good performance mods to watch for as they come available? Thanks for great review.

Having around 1,000,000 miles in a truck, with anywhere from 9 - 13 spd trannys, I've shifted enough gears. Auto for me from here on out.

If you are comparing prior AT to CVT, its no contest. If you are comparing old MT to CVT, it's apples and oranges.
FWIW, I totally agree with you. My 2015 CVT is far faster than my AT GD was. The acceleration from a stop and merging onto the interstate is much easier.

The 2015 doesn't have the go-kart-ish feel that the GD did, but it is still fun to drive and very responsive from the ~230 miles I've put on it so far.

For me so far, 2015>GD in terms of handling and performance.
