Does it have brake assist when on a grade so you don't roll back as much ? If so , how well does it work ? Thanks for the post and enjoy .

I have this same question about the hill assist. I have a MT as well and I am not sure if this thing is adjusted properly. I had hill assist on my Subaru Forester and the car was kept from rolling back just by keeping my foot on the clutch. Not sure if that is how the Honda hill assist works.

It does have brake assist. It works really well. Even on a slight incline, it has prevented me from rolling back. The delay is exactly 2 seconds, so after 2 seconds you will begin to roll backwards.

Here is a 50/50 breakdown of driving on the highway (75 MPH +) and driving in the city with no A/C. Before I got on the highway, my MPG was 35 in just the city.

Here is my MPG for the first 366 miles I drove the car. It was 95% highway with A/C on. My speed was for the most part 70 MPH +. With the A/C off and only going 55 MPH, I achieved an average of 48 MPG.

The pedal distance is good, but the brake sits a bit higher then the gas so it was a little awkward for me to do. I never really drive heel to toe though so maybe it was just me.

41+ MPG at 70mph and w/ A/C on??? Then 48MPG at 55mph??? That's symphony music to my ears!!! Keep posting your continuing results. Definitely something we all want to duplicate!!!

I was driving very conservative though and tried to coast as much as possible. I'll have a better idea of the fuel economy once I stop babying the new car lol.

I deliberately tried to do this and felt it working. Does anyone know if this is an electronic control or some sort of mechanical control?

The reason I ask is that my Subaru had the hill holder (mechanical) engage and not disengage. Nearly smoked a clutch trying to get the car started before I figured out the problem...

Thanks for nice write up. Can you please give your thoughts on wheels. How are the looking? Is there any steel frame visible from behind caps.
Thanks

Here's a pic of the wheel. You can definitely see them behind the hubcaps.

Thanks for the image. It doesn't look that bad. Is the wheel painted inside to prevent any corrosion visible in future.
Thanks

Don't forget, the MPG calculator in the car is about 5-10% higher than reality

"Great visibility"

Never thought much of it until I got my Fit and drove the familiar routes I did with my previous car which was a 2011 Ford Fiesta. With the Fiesta, doing tight turns I really couldn't tell exactly where the curve was at making a sharp right, but with the Fit, I can hug that curve with abandon because I know where it's at.

The BIGGEST thing I love though about the Fit's visibility is the wide view back up camera!!! Love it, love it, LOVE IT!

Thanks
On the bright side your LX steel wheels and covers are less likely to be stolen than the nice EX wheels!
