Light for Under Hood

I'd like to put an LED light under the hood. Ideally, it would mount somewhere but also have a long cord so I could move it around - and a switch, too.

Im going to do this too with my remaining LED rope light I bought. Looking into a N/C push switch to mount so the light is on with the hood open and off with it closed.

There are switches that will do that automatically, like mercury switches, but I'd rather have a separate switch. I have one open spot left to the left of the steering wheel, but I'll save that for something else.
