Removing Center Console

Have any of you removed the long center console - the thing that runs from the dash to the rear seats? I see how the front can be disconnected, but I didn't see any connections from the middle to the back.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone offered a manual?

Bump. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I need to install my JDM shift boot to go with my Fit RS shift knob, so I need to remove the entire console.

Nevermind, user Downshift did a write up on how to remove the console. His write up plus this diagram should help me out. I'll be removing it tomorrow, so I may post pics in my JDM shift knob thread. Here's Downshift's write up, thanks man! https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ml#post1271172

I have made step by step instructions with pictures for removing the console. Find them here in my JDM shift knob thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ml#post1307128
