We've been super busy working on the car. The JDM LED headlights fit nicely. We didn't have time to wire them up yet but we'll tackle that at a later time.

So the ge shocks fit minus the top hats? That's great news!

The GE shocks actually don't fit. We had to make quite a few modifications in many different places to make them work and it's not ideal.

It's actually quite simple. We'll have a kit available soon. We brought over every piece of the JDM rear suspension for comparison to see the differences but they're not all required for the conversion.

Ha, no.

The car will wear the Spoon Race Livery.
Almost time to put it all back together!

That picture makes me feel all naughty. Seeing the chassis exposed like that. Cover yourself up, Fit!

In all seriousness, will you guys be producing a sunroof delete or putting the factory sunroof back in? Any weight saving measures you're taking? I'd love to know if you guys spotted anything in the tear-down that was unnecessarily heavy.

Aside from the usual spare and tools and seats, that is.

Loving the build and really appreciate the R&D work that you guys are doing for the community as a result! Go Spoon!

It's cool that you can visually see what the air intake looks like, with the splash guard attached.

There's actually not much in terms of unnecessary items that can save weight on a street car. There are a lot of airbags all over the car so none of that can be removed. We will be deleting the sunroof with a carbon plug. Unfortunately it won't be a production item.

I've seen a few mentions that you guys developed a Spoon 'Main' pipe or 'B' pipe. Both names were referenced. Do you have any pics of it? What size is it?

One link: B-Pipe

They usually say 'Spoon B Pipe and N1 muffler'. I'm hoping they are not referencing the GK5 with the K20.
