Did you do anything special to fit the RS spoiler (ie: drilling)? From the below pic, it looks like the USDM spoiler was mounted using different holes. would these need to be plugged to prevent water from entering?

also, from other pics ive seen, i thought the RS spoiler bolts on top of the JDM OEM stubby spoiler? could be wrong, though. anyone w/ a ROW GK5 able to confirm?

We mounted the spoiler using two existing mounting locations however, there are 2 additional holes that will need to be plugged. The RS spoiler also uses 2 additional mounting locations that on the roof that need to be drilled.

Thanks for the info. Could you take more pictures and show the different angles/mounting locations, please? Thanks

Since this was built to race have you turn some laps in it yet and how were the times compared to previous ventures ?

Also any tweeks since the initial completion ?

The car needs some additional work to race prep it from when it was debuted at SEMA but we have been busy campaigning our Spoon Sports USA FD2 Civic Type-R at the moment. We do plan on racing the Fit when we get a opportunity to.

I'm not into racing, but this is truly an exciting film to watch. With all the shifting discussion in other threads, its very interesting to listen to the engine and watch the shifting sequences.

That was pretty cool, however I was surprised that the shifter had such a long throw, especially when mere seconds can make a huge difference.

I see you have the JDM bumpers, what is required to get those to fit on a USDM fit? I know for the GD3 you need hood, fenders, headlights, bumper, rad support, crash beam, and other small parts. Is it this involved for the new Fits?

Car looks awesome. Great job guys.

What's a good source for the JDM front/rear bumpers? Looks so much cleaner. The first time I saw a 3rd gen Fit was in Japan, and I wondered why I got home and thought they didn't look quite as good as I had remembered.

Where Can I purchase some of the items used for this modification? I see the spoon Japan website or the USA website but little info is offered. I want to add steel break lines, LED lighting both interior and exterior, I want A damping system, etc also who can make this modifications in or near San Francisco CA? Any information on resources and where to buy will be helpful Thank you

What did it take to wire those up?
