Thanks - can you please show me the URL you got that from ? or did you take it from a brochure... Hang on - is this when you go build a DX from the honda.ca website and then add a vehicle to compare against ?...

I do believe its a Canadian web site as you are also a Canuck and the price is correct (in $CAD) but I can't seem to find how you produced that PDF so I can show my dealer.

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately I bet Honda says it was a typo and that they are sorry but it can't be added.

Can you please post a picture of your dash showing the manual heating controls and the temp gauge so I can push that in their face ?

Thanks in advance..

Yes, the chart was generated in Honda.ca's "Build & price" comparison option. When two cars are selected, there is a PDF button on the top right hand corner of the browser.

I am currently being told that Honda does have a disclaimer on their site stating that information and images portrayed are done so with a reasonable effort for accuracy but essentially denying any responsibility for inaccurate info. Honda Canada
I read the last line of the finance and lease disclaimer, it includes features along with other things that they say are within their right to make errors on.

Mind you the comparison chart is not an image its generated each time you do a compare so maybe I have them by the 'short and curlies'

So just lets say they advertise a car having a stereo but when you take delivery its not there - they have the right to say that it was a mistake ??

I smell something somewhere and its not roses..

I sincerely wish that Honda is at the wrong this time. As I'm looking forward to this feature as well. I guess I will find out when my DX is delivered.

DX only comes with MT with no A/C...An absolute base model for poor fellows like myself, lol.

BTW, I've test driven an DX, but I can't for the life of me recall whether it displays outside temp or not...

Maybe because it's so cold in Canada, the outside thermometer doesn't work.

I wonder if the wiring is there for it. It's too bad they don't have a shop manual. Everything is more difficult without one.

Honda usually don't pre-wire everything so if temp sensor is not meant to have for that particular trim they won't wire it.

What is interesting the LCD display can support it but without the sensor probe and the wiring harness for it won't work.

This happened to me on my old 2009 CRV LX when I later realize that it didn't have a temp sensor like on my old 2006 Civic EX. I started to miss it so I got on the forums and there is a discussion about it. Problem was it's alot of hassle to snake the wire and get under the dash wasn't worth it unless you have to tear it apart anyway for other items.

Ever since then I've made sure the trim level I get has it. Yeah I know I could use the weather app on my phone to give me local temp but it's not the same.

This is the first car I've had with an outside temp display, and I appreciate it. I've tried installing my own external temp gauges, but they never work right.

GUYS NEED SOME INPUT HERE.. US model Manual Transmissions With Temp Gauge ??

Do any US owners of Manual Transmission fits have the temp gauge ? Please reply with your TRIM level + confirm that you are a MT. In Canada ONLY the CVT's seem to be fitted with the gauge and they are trying to tell me now that the ECON arrangements for the CVT need them and the Manuals dont... blah blah blah.

I have a dx as well, and NO ambient temp gauge. And I'd disagree with the bare bones aspect of the dx. It has a lot more than the 2013 lx that I had and traded in for the 2015. I'm pleasantly surprised at the 'base' model - doesn't feel base at all.

I have an LX 6 speed MT and have an ambient temperature guage. I don't blame you for being pissed. That guage is the best thing since breast implants! None of my earlier vehicles had a temp guage and it really is quite useful ... especially when temps approach freezing. I know you can purchase and install an aftermarket temp guage if you don't get satisfaction from Honda.
GOOD LUCK!!

You may also want to read this thread or give your input (I haven't read it yet, myself).

UPDATE: Sorry, i can see Trashercan has already posted his query on that thread ... just trying to help.
Looks like you CANADIANS have some nice standard features! BUT .... no outside temp guage .... BUT you have MOLSON no matter what the temperature. Everything is a trade-off.
