Water droplets on Backup Camera = Rain-X is your friend
Water droplets on Backup Camera = Rain-X is your friend
One thing that annoys me with the Fit is trying to use the backup camera at night when there is water on the lens. I've been using Rain-X on camera lenses (DSLR filters and Gopro case) with fantastic results. Same goes for the backup camera lens for the Fit. Does't get rid of the droplets completely but a huge improvement.
Disclaimer: Theoretically you are not supposed to use Rain-X on any kind of plastics but I've had no problem with my Gopro cases getting hazy. Only time will tell if it has any ill effects on the Fit backup camera lens. So far, 2 months and no problems.

Rain x
Hey! Good tip! My back-up camera has been rendered useless several times by water globlets ... I've had to get out and wipe it of before proceeding. I will try the RAIN X.
NotBlake: What synthetic sealant are you referring to? It works as a water repellant?

Megs #21 synthetic sealant.
Thanks! Just checked it out and imagine it's pretty nice on the paint as well. I used Collinite Insulator Wax which worked awesome on the paint but is "not recommended for glass or unpainted plastic".
