Some minor front end work...

Replaced a cracked headlight, and bumper cover, and hit that hideous gloss black grille cover with some semi gloss, as well as repaint my badges and chrome accent. Waiting for my bra to come in.

Does anyone else hate chrome as much as I do??

I noticed that the TCY headlight doesn't match the OEM light, exactly, but it's nothing anyone else would really notice... and as someone here said before: the aftermarket cover does leave a slight gap at the bottom of the headlight.

Before

A weird stain I couldn't get to come off...

Headlight with condensation, and a cracked bumper cover

After.

After

Also installed some purple dome lights.

I absolutely hate chrome on cars. Always have. That’s about as cool a white wall tires lmao!!! I always get rid of chrome ASAP. Both my fit and CRV have no chrome anymore. Both of these are EX models. I’d prefer the LX black trim. I just put the new OEM Fit license plate garnish on last week. I tried wrapping the original one and hated it.

Do you have a thread going for your RS build?

If not, you should definitely create one.

I found the shifter on eBay listed by buddy club for $90 and free shipping. I ordered around 130pm on a Friday and got the part at 11am the next morning, off to a great start! I start tearing apart the center console and remove the stock shifter assembly and took measurements to make sure the crz one would work. Now, I have some simple home repair tools and thought I could make it work for the mod to the short shifter but I was wrong, I was trying to sand the areas down, I tried filing it down with a finger nail file and ended up using the saw blade on a Swiss army knife before calling it quits at 1am.

The next morning I went to Wally world and bought a Dremel and knocked out the mod in 2 seconds. About another 45 minutes of putting everything back in place and I've got the short shifter all connected and ready for a test drive, until I notice the stock shift knob catches on the shift boot and makes 2nd and reverse very difficult to get into unless I want to destroy the boot. I took it apart again to remove the boot and now have an exposed shifter and ugly oem shift knob, but hey, the shifter works really well, very pleased with the purchase and recommend to anyone trying to get a short shifter for cheap.

Stock on left, buddy club crz short shifter on the right

The bottom piece needs trimmed down

Shane down the front to look like a big U

Add a rounded edge to the back edge and inside corner

Finished product till I get a new knob
How much it reduce the movement, approx ? It's very interesting for me !

But the RV6 is from Axion Industries, right ?

If yes, they don't send their stuff in Europe, so no way for me to buy that "header"... As their rear anti roll bar...

The short shifter is from buddy club and specifically for the CRZ, but with a little mod it fits and is half the price of the GK short shifter they make. So far I only know of it working the 2015 but it shouldn't be an issue for later gks

Don't specifically know how much, read it's about an inch from another member that did it. But so much more solid of a shift and big reduction in free play.

The clear coat on the rim of the turn signal was peeling away so I decided to fix it. So much better.

Sure did! And I used the Mother’s clay pad. I was used to doing it with the clay and spray, this was still a task but so much less time.

Red Badges

Well I know it’s got the Hp of a go cart but it does add some cool points for really matching up with the red accents in the car.
