Those wheels look great on the the FIT. It's something no one else will have.
I also like "Made in Japan" decal. And that looks like a full custom chrome exhaust? Not just an exhaust tip. Did you modify the exhaust yourself? |
The exhaust is an HKS Silent Hi-Power. I ordered it off kamispeed. It's pretty easy to bolt on (takes about 30 minutes if it's up on ramps). You just have to make sure they didn't overdo the welds where the stock bolts thread in on the axle-back.

Had the cold weather grind on start (VTC actuator???) again yesterday morning at work...2 mornings in a row it's been cold enough to make it do so since purchase in June..I work 12 hour night shifts at the local hospital, car sits from 18:35 until 07:25, give or take. Parked it outside of our garage overnight last night (was off), and tried the suggestion of "bumping" the starter to slightly turn the motor but not enough for it to start. This a.m. was the coldest yet here in east TN since purchase, 29*F. "Bumped" it twice, started normally, no noise as opposed to on the previous 2 mornings, when the temp was just above 30*F. If bumping the starter is something of a workaround, I'll just do that, if Honda isn't willing to offer up a cure....I'm a night shift nurse, I ain't got the time or patience to be running back and forth from the dealer to hear that "the problem couldn't be replicated," or "We've never heard of that on Fits before" or "It's normal, nothing to worry about, it's not harming anything..." This noise has to be affecting something, whether they admit to it or not.....will try again tomorrow - supposed to be about the same a.m. temp, debating on whether to bump the starter or just see if it makes the noise again....but yeah....sorry for the novel

Fixed Bumper
New to me 15 EX-L. Removed the "insert" on top of the grill. That gave me enough access to insert stiff rubber floor matting between the beam and the top of the bumper cover. Two pieces about 4" long did the trick. Things are now aligned properly. About a 20 minute job that does not require removing the bumper cover.

Yes, this corrects the sag. There is a "filler" piece between the radiator and the grill, from under the hood. Remove 5 plastic push pins and pull the grill forward. That allowed me enough room to place the rubber matting on the top of the beam, wedged against the top of the bumper cover.

Been planning to do this. My 2015 EX has a sagging bumper, did you buy the rubber matting or just made it from scrap.
