Passion Berry Pearl rules the day.

I haven't washed this thing yet since I bought it and it still looks awesome.

Took a photo of the car last night as I walked up to it with a glorious California sunset as a backdrop.

My god this car is good looking!

I sure wish I lived some place where it doesn't rain or snow.

Congrats, great color! Did you decide on the EX or EX-L?

i went with the EX. I've had leather in the past, but I didnt feel the extra 2K was worth it. So far I have been content with the cloth seats.

I tested both seats and wearing nylon pants was real slippery on the leather which made it easy to slide forward. I don't wear jeans as much anymore, they may grip better on leather. The cloth should last a long time if you keep on top of spills.

Three things I like came with the leather package of which two I've resolved:

Leather wrapped steering wheel (wheelskins leather wrap)
Leather wrapped shift knob ($43 honda parts)

The only remaining item is the turn signals on the mirrors that would be nice for increased safety with others seeing your lane changes more clearly.

Heated seats would be nice occasionally, but not critical.

Yeah, I would think in San Diego you could do without the heated seats, too. Up here, I got the heated seats to make wifey happy.

Can you post a pic of what your steering wheel looks like with the wrap on? Or do you know if this is already posted some where on here? Did it take the whole projected hour to complete?

For the record, that Passion Berry Purple is an incredible color. Not an option for me, as I got the LX.

That said, I went with the black. Certainly deep enough for my tastes, and it really looks sharp with the windows tinted.

I like this car a whole lot.

I spent several hours on the project and another hour doing the backside of the wheel spokes. I'm very happy with the investment in time since this is the main contact point with the moving vehicle and I really like the thicker wrapped wheel. Besides raising the front of the seat, this would be my favorite mod to date.

Texas here, that's exactly what we did. We also went with the EX because we didn't want leather because of the heat.

tbFit and I both went with the WheelSkins product. Nice and thick real leather plus, Made in the USA. It definitely will take a couple of hours but worth the end result.

At $50, there are other more affordable alternatives.

Check out tofuShop's solution in the 3rd Gen Interior mods section.

He's got a perforated leather knock-off from Ebay for less than $6 and the results are amazing.
