How to tell when car was made ?
Open the driver's door and look on the car body inside the door in the lower right. You will see a plate with black background and white letters. There, right under the statement that tells you your Japanese car was made in Mexico, on the right side, you will see the month and year of manufacture (e.g. 01/15). The last five numerals of your VIN identifies your individual car in the order it was built. My car has a VIN ending in 73xxx and was manufactured January, 2015.

Is my understanding that all the USA models are Assembly in mexico. But the parts comes from different places such as Brazil, Japan, Vietnam and I don't remember the other plants. In the vin it just show you where it was assembly but not where it the parts come from.
