Picked up a yellow EX Manual 2 weeks ago and I love it so far. Have a couple questions regarding the car:

1) I have an iPhone 6 and I can't get emails or texts to work on the car. Any suggestions? I've read Android works and older iPhones?

2) I've noticed the dashlights/instrument panel lights (a/c and heater stuff) automatically go on and off when the lights are on. I'm guessing it's auto like the headlights, but wish they would stay lit if the headlights are on. Any suggestions?

3) Is it worth it to buy the HDMI Hondalink cable for my phone? I'll probably never need Nav, but would like the other features available.

 

1. On your iPhone go into the Bluetooth settings and click on the car's connection. Enable "show notifications".

 

3) I bought the cable just so I would have the option of using the apps. I figured I'm spending the money on the car so what's a little bit more?


It was expensive but I heard later that I could have bought them from a different retailer for much less...
