Seeking template tracing of 2015 Fit Hatchback Cargo Cover

Hi everyone,

Just bought a new 2015 FIT that (as you know) did NOT come with a hatchback cargo cover. My 1998 Honda DX Hatchback w/188k miles came with one so I assumed my new Fit would but alas!

Wondering if some amazingly kind and helpful person would be able to trace out the cover shape for me on a large piece of paper (old paper bags taped together, wrapping paper, etc) so I can try to make a cover with fabric and small cafe curtain rods or cardboard or ??

I'll reimburse you for postage. I'm in the San Francisco, California area.

Thanks!

Try searching as I believe some have made them here.

I have dark tint so no need for one.

I was too lazy to create my own so I went ahead and purchased the cargo cover. I'll try to find a large enough piece of cardboard to trace out the cover and ship it over. I'd also be willing to meet up if you like. I work in downtown SF and live in the east bay. Feel free to PM me.

Here's the DIY thread for making a cargo cover: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...rgo-cover.html

I was going to attempt this but in the end I didn't want to go through the hassle making the template etc. so I caved and ordered the OEM cargo cover. There are some photos of the DIY process and a template but I don't think it'll be too helpful.

Hi Homerfan,
Would you be willing to take a photo of your cargo cover and make 2 measurements?? If I could get a nice flat shot of it, with just length & width measured, i think I could make a template on some graph paper, and post it here! Then it might be possible to use plasticor to cut out a decent, lightweight cargo hatch cover.
Thanks so much for any help!

Cargo cover

I made a cargo cover from the $11 idea. Took some time but works great. I could trace what I have and send to you if you'd still like it.
