Not in stock?
Not in stock?
Have not been checking in here for the past 10 days, some good info here on this
forum.
Some one posted about a Honda dealer not having something in stock, how the
hell can some dealer sell a vehicle and not have parts on hand?
I went to 5 dealers during my recent trip looking for an air filter (isn't that a rather
important item?) Thanks to IKE Honda in Marion, IL. I have the new filter and a
spare on hand. Not in stock, eh?
We are really happy with the FIT, this little car is just right for our life, but, or should
I say BUT, I will not recommend Honda cars to anyone. This is our second Honda
and we have had great service from these cars and I feel bad by not recommending
them. The lawyers and MBA's at Honda and the lazy, greedy dealers make this
brand a no go.

Gorilla, Your FLAPS (Friendly Local Auto Parts Dealer) does not have air filters for the
2015 FIT. Well they have K&N but that is not an option for me. We live 60 miles from
a dealer, yes I buy everything online but this seems like a rare item. If AutoZone, O'Reilly's
and NAPA can not get them I need more info on the online sellers.
If you or anyone else has done this please share the info.

Having already bought the car, you have little leverage to promote changes in parts stocking! They have you by the short hairs if you want parts for the car you own.
You might try returning the dealer survey mailings with negative reviews related to parts. It probably means nothing but the last time I bought a car the dealer sent their own mailings asking me to call them first before giving anything less than a top rating.
