Navigation issues with both Android and Windows phones.

Hey all. I'm having an issue with the Bluetooth on both my Windows phone and the android I had prior.
When I had Bluetooth connected to my android, I would only hear navigation prompts when I was playing music through my phone (not through CD, Radio, or IPOD)... Now with the Windows phone I'm getting no navigation prompts....at all. In fact, Cortana's voice won't even come through the speakers when its activated. Has anyone had any experience with a similar situation? If so how did you fix it?

i guarantee a windows phone isn't going to work at all with this...I have a windows phone and as you should know compatibility with things is not all that great. I can give it a try tomorrow though with our fit.

I had a thread about this. You can't play the radio and have bluetooth connected. Yesterday I discovered you can't play CDs and have bluetooth either.

Well, what app are you using for GPS? Window's native GPS doesn't have turn by turn voice navigation. I'm using "Drive" as my native GPS on my 640 and turn by turn voice navigation works fine (even when using radio I can hear the prompts over my Fit's speakers) You may want to delete your phone's profile on your Fit and start over again. If you need any help let me know. (what version of windows is your phone on?

I have a Windows Phone and it works fine.

The only downside is it pauses and restarts your music instead of narrating over the music. Which is probably normal. But also, sometimes if you pause your music for whatever reason, leave the radio on Bluetooth, and navigation kicks in, then the music will start back automatically even though you probably didn't want it to.

This is what I was looking for. I'm using HEREDrive+ and I'm running 8.1
I haven't and likely won't update to 10.

Do you even see the Fit trying to connect? it's listed as "Handsfreelink' under settings / bluetooth on your phone. If you're still having problems I'll post a video guide.
