Got a New LX CVT today (Did I get a decent OTD price?)?)

First post, wanting to introduce myself.
Will be definitely post here more in the future.

Just got back from the dealership. Bought Fit LX with CVT for my wife.
No trade in, No financing.

Sticker price: $17425
Dealer add-ons: $1594 (Splash Guards, Wheel Locks, Pin Stripe, Fabric Protection, Nitro in tires. etc).
Total asking Price: $19019

Here is what I got:

Purchase Price: $14963.21
Delivery, Fees and Taxes: 2218.14

Total OTD price: $17181.35

Could I have brought the price down even more, or is it a good deal?

Well, I can't see your pinstripe, so you might have gotten swindled

But seriously, do cool stuff to that car and keep us up to date.

Did you get a 2015 or 2016? I, too, do not see any pinstriping. The splash guards are $40, so your dealer installed accessories might be high.

I'm certainly not an expert on these matters, but I think you got a very good deal. I bought my 2015 LX manual almost a year ago (Jan 09, 2015) for 17,250 OTD.

Car was in a prep when I was negotiating. I told them to remove the stripe and that I do not need a wheel locks on the steel wheels (that will only add the hassle during the service), and not to drill the front bumper for license plate.
Nothing they could do about fabric protection, nitro, and mud guards, as they where already installed/applied.

BTW I got a J VIN

Wife loves the car.

That's almost exactly what I paid for my 2016 LX ($17,150 OTD), but all I got them to throw in was winter floor mats.

Congrats - sounds like you got a good deal. Love the Mercedes in the shot, too! (both of them, since smart was developed by Mercedes).

Of course they can do something. They can not charge you for them! How much did they charge you for a lot boy to crawl through your new car with a $6 spray can of Scotchguard? For that matter, how do you know they actually did it?

I always deal on the OTD price, including taxes and fees. That's the number I'm going to write on the check. If the dealer want to play with packs and ripoffs, fine, but that adds to his price that I will compare with other dealers. I'm lucky to have a local dealer who doesn't play games so he generally gets my business.

I just bought my EX last weekend but was looking at the entire line. At my dealership that was about what LX's were going for...

I wanted the EX for some of the refinements, but I think the LX is a great value.

I was really tempted to save a few grand, I think right now going prices for a LX are great.
