I looked up my Fit, and there are zero recalls due. I checked my son's, and it said that the coil recall wasn't done. The dealer said that it was done. Also, there is no mention of the inner door handle recall, but we got mail about that. It looks like there are some cracks in Honda's system.

 

I noticed the same thing on the door handle recall. I received the notice in the mail and the dealer knows it as a recall item for my car, but nothing on the Honda Owners site.

 

"Recalls" have a specific legal meaning and are generally for issues that can cause injury or death.

As far as I know, the door handle problem isn't a safety issue.

 

The coil recall mine had was on line and via letter, but the door handles were letter only. I don't recall about the bumper upgrade.

I'll have to recheck my letter, but I'm pretty sure they're not using the word "recall" to describe the door handle issue.
