Slight clunk from a stop

When I start out in the morning or when the car has sat for a while(1+ hous), I hear a slight "clunk" coming from what sounds like the right rear of the car when I hit about 15-20 mph and accelerating. Everything is secured and it doesn't happen after I have been underway and stopped in traffic or at a light. Performance is fine and it runs great. Does anyone else have this?

When you say everything is secured, have you crawled under the car with a creeper and checked by hand? Only reason I ask....could be something as simple as a loose muffler clamp, rattling heat shield, etc., if it's emanating from the right rear.

If this is the same known 'noise' discussed before on this forum many times that occurs at about the speed you indicate, it was concluded that this was an ABS brake or some sort of calibration that happens at that speed.

I hear it every time I leave my house at about the same spot and about the same speed as I head down the road. I also have the EX-CVT as OP.

edit - found one of the threads:

I think concluded is a strong word, there was a lot of conjecture in that thread.

I have an EX-CVT and haven't heard anything like that. Has anyone popped off their drum brake housing to see if anything there is sticking? The parking brake assembly is there too, and maybe it's not completely letting go until you hit enough speed?

Any idea what this so called ABS check is doing? Maybe a way to force it to see if it is the culprit?

Perhaps... but for me it is the exact speed every time, so it would seem an electronic signal of some sort.

Slight clunk from a stop.

I have that, too, 2015 Fit, about 7,000 miles.

When starting up after several hours parked I put the car in reverse to back out of my parking place & get a "pop" or "clunk" as soon as the car begins to move backwards - sounds like driving over a green walnut (a common occurrence here, in the fall).

Sounds like right front, not rear.

Took it to the dealer, they said "maybe" brake pad re-positioning as I back up.

u sure it's not the brakes making the noise (normal)? should be even more pronounced if u washed ur car or it was in a rain storm overnight and u backed out in the am.

it can get SUPER pronounced to a point u wont be able to move the car if u washed ur car in the winter and temps dropped significantly below freezing. lol

I get transmission clunk after shifting to D and moving. It's normal and my Dads car does it too. You are describing a different noise though.
