First off, I'm so glad to have found this forum. I'm not new to forums, but very fresh on this one.

Anyway, I'm a new FIT EX 16' owner who doesn't like the stock light system. Especially the tiny light above the cup holder. Before tinting my Fit, I could barely see the light. I want to replace a few for now - dome, cargo, and map ones.

For the LED's, do I need a "special" type for the "can bus" system?... can bus is something very new to me and I assume the Fit has this system?

Lastly, what brand of LED's do you prefer?

Regular LEDS will work fine.

It's tied to interior light brightness control. Unfortunately, so is the dash gauge lights, so if you want this light brighter, you'll have to have the gauges on full brightness, which is annoying.


I ended up leaving that light dangling out, bc I couldn't put it back in! I've been experimenting with different bulbs and will post later.
