That is surprising. Longueuil must be special. The Americans claim they cannot order a 2016 manual shift Fit at all, and dealers are refusing their orders. Last November it took me over 2 months. There are a couple of DXs on here.

the guy at longueuil honda told me i was lucky , there was no more Modern Steel Metallic or red milano in dx 2016 , the next batch 2017 arrive this fall

he found a White Orchid Pearl 2016 dx (thats what i want anyway ) and with rpf1 black it was a match whit all the black trim

next i put red jdm bdge and civic center cap , dont what model is going to fit on rpf1 15x7

is it really difficult to put a accelerator metal plate if it is not specially made for honda ?

I believe the accelerator pedal is plastic and for the Honda accessory pedals you need to drill through it. Do more research, but I recall this.

You are lucky. Here in the states I had to order mine because they're pretty much OUT of manual transmission fits. I believe they have some left over 2015's but they're selling them at MSRP so why pay the same price for something that is two year models older. It's a 2017 set to arrive mid September.

Last year I had to wait for the newer 2016 Fits and was told the same thing, September. In reality had to wait until November to take delivery of the new model.

Wow, that is ridiculous. If I don't get a confirmation that it has indeed been produced by the time he tells me I'll unfortunately have to just look for a used car with the transmission that I want. I just can't fathom paying $500 less to buy a car without the new warranty and around 17K miles already. That's how good the resale value of these cars is right now.

Still has warranty, just not new. But as you stated, you have less miles available of it. There are a few manuals in SoCal with low miles that someone bought, maybe did not like and turned them in for something else. One of them currently only 1700 miles on it. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...3928/overview/
Craigslist has a few as well in the area from time to time.

When I received my 2016 Fit last November, no Honda dealer I visited in Toronto even had the 2016 Fit brochure yet. They told me to review the 2015 brochure as nothing had changed.

Looks like you guys up there in QC don't have front bumper license plates. So nice! I like the dealer logo. They should pay you monthly for advertising their dealer brand on your car.

My 2015 DX has 66k kms and still holding up well, except for the endless cold start rattles and injectors replaced at 27k kms and rear tires wearing out as quickly as the fronts (no need for tire rotations), everything is ok lol. And yes, mine is the Mexican one. Hopefully yours has been well fed with burritos. I've been hearing that the 2015's got starved out and had all kinds of problems.
