Greetings to All,

My first post. My 2016 Fit EX (1500 miles) has had strange rattle in the steering wheel. Sounds like it is coming from right underneath the plastic horn switch cover (if that makes sense), which would be right above the steering wheel air bag.

I am afraid to mess with it too much as I don't want to set off the air bag. Obviously will be mentioning this to the dealer at the first oil change but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this annoying rattle.

 

Welcome to the forum! Figure out how to reliably repeat the problem then, take your car to the Honda service center. Let them sort it out for FREE. That is why we buy new cars. Right?

 

Try checking the two torx screws that hold the air bag in place. They have blue thread lock on them from the factory.
