Headlights which are affordable

Supposedly these will "work with DRLs." They do say they work down to 6v; most only work down to 9 volts. However my understanding is that the Fit supplies 5 volts to the (highbeam) filament for the DRL function - which of course is less than 6 volts. Also, the lumen rating is not clear. The spec stated is 4000 lumens per bulb - but does that mean 2000 lumens for each "filament" or 4000 for each filament? 4000 is kinda high, given that I think the orig halogens are about 1200 high beam, 900 low beam. Also, they say 6000 Kelvin color temp. That is slightly bluish and may attract unwanted attention. Cop "are your headlights legal?" 5000 is plain white, and closer to the orig halogens which are about 2500 to 3500 i think, depending on brand.

The main problem i am having with the original headlights is not that the low beams don't let me see far enough down the road, rather, it is that the amount of light they throw to the right side, isn't enough to allow me to see where the road ends at the right, and where the ditch begins, or the cliff, and whether there is a large male deer quietly standing there and contemplating whether to dart across. Especially in regard to turning onto a side road.
