Clutch options?

Hey guys, I've been looking around for my next clutch as i'm coming up on 75k miles and i'd like to have one on stand by BEFORE i need it, but I'm having no luck finding any for the 2015 fit, was hoping I could get a stage 1 kit instead of OEM. Any pointers on what will work?

Call South Bend Clutch. I mean call, don't message, email or use some other electronic method and talk to their tech department. They have way more combinations and stuff then they put on their website. They can change friction materials and center discs to come up with whatever combo will work best for your application. My last clutch was a one off due to my autocross application.

Gotcha, I'll give them a call. Any info about the clutch I should know to make sure I don't end up getting the wrong one?

No, that's where talking to them comes into play. Stage 1 is a term. If it's for the steet and you need it to hold to a certain HP tell them. If it's for the drag strip and stock HP tell them. Same about HP and for autocross or Track Days at the road course. Tell them your use along with HP and they will discuss options about pressure plate, disc materials and if the disc is sprung, solid or puck style. They build a clutch for you, not pigeon hole into something that might work for your application. I've bought two clutches from them and have been nothing but extremely satisfied with the product and customer service.

I live about 3 hours away. Last clutch I bought I took the drive in, talked to the tech face to face, seen samples of the materials and chose a clutch that was a stage 1 pressure plate with a stage 2 endurance friction material on a spung center. I left to go have lunch and came back an hour later and my clutch was ready for pickup. How many other companies are going to switch up their production schedule to accommodate a walk in off the street customer?

I plan on purchasing the cusco copper clutch set. A bit pricy though. Im thinking if this might be the next big purchase on the car, i might as well get a 1.5 way LSD and get it installed also. Man i really wish our cars had atleast 50 more HP
