How are the 2018's?

Anybody get a chance to test drive the 2018's? Honda supposedly tweaked the suspension and added a noise reducing windshield. Curious if these changes are significant enough to be noticed.

No one has even seen a 2018 as far as I know. They're supposedly just being delivered to dealerships now but most probably don't even have one yet, let alone put them out on display. I would think most dealerships are more interested in trying to clear out their 2017s and are not in any rush to let customers see the 2018s.

I drove past a JDM 2018 the other day. It has a much better looking front diffuser.

Ive seen a handful now across two dealers. The orange Sport model is sexy as shit but the dealer I saw that at has a thing against manual transmissions nowadays. The salesman hasnt ever seen a 2015+Fit come through that didnt have the CVT. My girlfriend and I lso saw four more '18 models at a further dealer away on Monday while we were test driving a 2017 Passion Berry with the manual (likely going to be my girlfriends next car).

I really like that metallic purple and blue that they offer. If I could wave a magic wand and change one thing on my 2015 to make it "perfect," it would be the color. Mine is "modern steel" which looks really cool. I generally shy away from "neutral" colors (silver, white, gray, etc.) however the Fits look really good in them. Only colors I don't like are the really really bright ones (yellows, tomato red, neon-anything, etc.).

At any rate, I got a good deal on mine b/c I was primarily looking for a vehicle that had a 6spd manual and a moonroof. Could have spent a few grand more for a new 2017, or save some $$$$ for certified used.

Wishful thinking on color, but no regrets. Hopefully the next car I buy will be a 2028 or 2030 Honda Fit.

I'm planning to go look at the '18s tomorrow. Looking for a Sport MT and a local (well, close enough) dealer has several colors on their lot, including the Orange Fury.

Problem is, I've not owned a Fit before, so I can't tell you if it's any different.

Still, let us know what you think. I've never owned one before but just drove a base 2017 6MT last week and was impressed. It moves along really well and the shifter is typical Honda.

At least you can see the 2018's. Honda Canada is still asleep up here and there still isn't even a mention of them on the website let alone having them on dealer lots. They're lucky I'm not shopping anything else and am at their mercy.

A few good stuff like the Honda Sensing® Great safety feature for those who love to text and talk on the phone while driving. Standard on the EX-L, available on the LX, Sport, and EX. But, I don't see the cost in accessories.

is a suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies designed to help keep you out of bad situations by alerting you to things you might miss while driving. Honda Sensing® includes: Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)* Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)* Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)* Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)*

Standard on EX as well, manual or CVT.

I'm interested to hear if the suspension and acoustic glass make a difference. Subjectively, from photos only I prefer the looks of the pre-facelift car.

Ditto. The only real miss is that they didn't go to LED headlights which surprised me. I believe the Japanese versions have had that for a while.

A radio knob is nice to see on all models now.

I will be trading in my 2007 Honda Fit for a 2018 Honda Fit Sport tomorrow.

Both cars are manual, the 2007 has 192K+ miles on it with the original clutch...

Agree. I wish they had LED headlights over here.

They had the Orange Fury in the show room right when you walk in. That's the car I'm getting. I had the metallic blue on the 2007.

A friend of mine is telling me that I need to get the windows tinted to go along with the black styling...

Just saw an Orange Fury (EX w/CVT) on the street. It looks nice, but the color is somewhat restrained. That's about the best way I can describe it.
Glad to see ErniePC12 is in a position to upgrade, though.
