Hi there - I want to wire some cables through from the engine compartment to the inside. Can someone please suggest the best grommet / hole to choose for a couple of small cables.

ive not done this on the GK, but if you haven't already, check the ICE section of this forum (stereo install section). most folks running aftermarket amps will run wires through the firewall.

 

I've gone through in 2 places. For a single small wire, I went through the air intake duct. Just poke it through the foam gasket above the intake source flapper. See my build thread in the posts about grille LED lights.

For a large power lead for my sound system I went through the boot on the passenger side of the firewall. See my thread about the sound system install.

For all my wires, I used the common bundle near the steering column.
