door edge protectors

The Honda door edge protectors are expensive. Anyone have them on their car? Like 'em? Install them yourself? Where'd you get the best price?

I have 'em. Get them from Bernardi (there's a whole subforum down below) and be sure to use their discount code.
I applied them with a lightweight rubber mallet. Apply some masking tape over the face of the mallet to prevent any scars. A gentle tap is all that is needed.

Go with something like the 3M 08582 clear door edge protective film. At least its not gaudy or tacky like traditional door edge guard

Most of the dents I see are not along the edge but the center of the door itself. The door edge protector protects the other cars from the possible damage caused by your door.

I never use door edge protectors. I try to be considerate of others, and not jam my doors into other cars.

No one is more considerate than me in parking lots. Regrettably, my narrow driveway at home is flanked on both sides with concrete bulkheads. To make it easier for the cyclists in my family to roll their bikes out of the garage we park the car to one side of the driveway. I have a rubber mat attached to one of the bulkheads so the driver's door does not hit the concrete. Yesterday, I noticed the paint has worn off the edge of the driver's door where it hits the mat.
