yep, the main reason why my wife prefers to have the compass mirror vs looking at gps compass.. coming out of a garage structure downtown with multiple exits, you dont know which way you are facing until you have a signal.. which is too late. with a compass you know exactly which way you are facing BEFORE leaving the parking structure.
